Eddie Ray grew up in Palestine, Texas. He was the oldest of four boys.
He remembers how his mom, dad, and aunt would always find a way to gather around the old piano
and sing great hymns at every family time. He joined right in by learning to play the guitar
and the piano both by ear. He participated in several bands until he landed with his brother
in The Ray Brothers. After spending much time playing in churches around East Texas, he and
Rodney went to Rosewood Studios in Tyler, Texas to record an album. They enjoyed it, and the sales
for the CD were strong, so they went back for a second CD. Eddie frequently plays special music
for his home church, Lone Pine Baptist Church. He also has fun spending time with his wife Vickie,
daughter Jennifer, son-in-law John, and his twin grandsons John and Jeffrey.

Rodney Ray grew up in Palestine, Texas. He was the youngest of four boys.
He was exposed to music as early as he can remember, joining in with his family in informal
singing. He spent an immense amount of time learning to play the guitar just like some of
the great country artists. Later, he began singing with his brother Eddie in a band. Before
long, they longed to create a recording of their sound. They headed to Rosewood Studios in
Tyler, Texas to record their first album. They had such a fun time recording it and the demand
was great for a new release that they headed back to record another one. He continues to use
his talents to sing at his home church, Lone Pine Baptist Church. Rodney enjoys spending time
with his wife Vicki, daughter Morgan, and son Brett.
